Game Of Thrones Season 7 Premiers Tonight. Arya Stark, The Assassin Is All We Should Care About.

This is a repost from an earlier article.

Contains a few spoilers.

young aryaWOW!! Young Arya Stark (played by actress Maisie Williams) has emerged to become a fierce cold blooded killing machine. Arya only had about three minutes of time in her finale scene of Game of Thrones season 6, but it was well worth it. She made her way to the castle of Walder Frey to avenge the death of her mother and brother by killing the man who helped orchestrate their deaths during the Red Wedding blood bath. Using a face she took from the Hall Of Faces, Arya pretended to be a servant serving the Lord Walder pie during a feast. Walder keeps asking for his sons, Lothar and Black Walder. The disguised Arya told Walder that his sons were there while severing him a big chunk of pie. When she told Lord Walder to take a closer look at the pie, he discovered what appears to be some brain parts baked into the pie.

Afterwards, Arya pulled off her mask and showed her true face just before cutting into Walder’s throat. She even had a little grin while holding his head back to drain him of his blood.

Arya seems to kill with no mercy now. She started out with a list of people that she wanted to kill, but there were some others that got in her way. Arya has already killed 4 of the people on her list with sword Needle.

Read here for the complete list of people Arya wants to kill.

But, so far it looks like Arya has at least 8 kills. 4 off of her list, one of the men that died with Polliver. Her former assassin mentor, the Waif and on the season finally the Walder sons, Lothar and Black Walder. I personally think there were more when you think about it. She had to infiltrate the home of Walder, kill his sons, cut them up, bake them in pies, and remove the real servant and take her place. There were probably some other fatalities in order to pull that off.

Remember that her first mentor was a cold blooded killer, the Hound. She later trained with the assassin the Waif from the Faces Of Men. Not to mention that she has practically been on her own since about age 10 surviving the best way she could. So what’s next for Arya and who will be the next to be crossed off her list? Game of Thrones is so unpredictable, no one knows. All we know is that with Arya’s new skills at being an assassin, there will be plenty of others taken out by her and Needle along the way.
