A woman who attends The Holy Redeemer Church in Slough over in England has been attending the funerals of people she don’t know for more than 14 years. The woman believes it is her duty to attend as many funerals as she can. One woman did not appreciate the woman showing up at her daughters funeral. The mother said the woman came to the church on her bicycle and started talking to other guest and then got a ride to the burial site with the brother of the deceased woman. Back at the reception, the mother struck up a conversation with the funeral crasher. When she asked how she knew her daughter, the crasher said she worked with her as a waitress. The mother said that was false because her daughter never worked as a waitress. The mother also said “She was eating from the buffet like there was no tomorrow…At the end of the wake she took out a Tupperware box, filled it up with food and cycled off with it in the basket on her bicycle.” The mother believes she goes to funerals just have an excuse to go to the reception to eat whatever food is there.
