FBJ Of The Week Sept. 24, 2016. Canadian Mint Employee Smuggled $140,000 In Gold Up His Butt…It Was An Inside Job.

35 year old Leston Lawrence, an employee for the Canadian government mint has been accused of smuggling gold nuggets worth $180,000 in Canada dollars by hiding them in his  butt, it was the only way he could bypass security. According to the Toronto Sun, he sold each piece for $6,800 in Canadian funds from November 27, 2014 until March 12, 2015. A bank teller noticed his unusual deposits and tipped off authorities. He faces charges for smuggling, theft, laundering, and possession of stolen property.  Read more here.
