“Cloud Bob”??
That sounds like a rejected character from a low-budget kids cartoon who teaches weather patterns and bad decisions.
Let’s be clear—an afro isn’t some fluffy cumulus drifting across the sky waiting for a meteorologist to name it. It’s a cultural staple, a statement, a whole era of style and identity. Calling it a “Cloud Bob” is what happens when someone runs out of both vocabulary and awareness at the exact same time.
Like imagine looking at one of the most iconic hairstyles in history and going:
“Yeah… that’s basically sky foam.”
No.
That’s not creativity—that’s confusion with confidence.
It’s giving:
- “I just discovered hair comes in textures”
- “I describe everything like I’m naming Pokémon”
- “I should’ve stopped talking three words ago”
And the worst part? You know they said it like they just invented slang that was about to take over the internet. Like they expected people to nod and go, “Wait… Cloud Bob kinda fire 👀”
No. It’s not fire. It’s not even smoke. It’s just… noise.
Somebody go ahead and retire that phrase immediately before it spreads and we’re out here arguing over whether braids are “rope rows” or locs are “twist sticks.”
